Quick and Easy Connection to the Clinic’s Turbine Coupling
The DENTO-PREP™ sandblaster can be connected to most standard turbine couplings using RØNVIG Dental’s specially designed connectors.
This means you can easily connect it to compressed air by removing your turbine handpiece, attaching the connector to the turbine coupling, and connecting the hose to the DENTO-PREP™.
Permanent installation using a T-piece installation kit is also possible.

Use it extraorally to clean a dislodged crown or orthodontic brackets. For extraoral use, we recommend the RØNVIG Dental DUST CABINET™ – a quiet dust cabinet that effectively captures dust particles.

Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) images show the effect on a metal surface when prepared with a diamond bur vs. sandblasting with 50 µm Al₂O₃ powder.
DENTO-PREP™ Aluminium Oxid Powder
DENTO-PREP™ is used with aluminium oxide powder (20–80 µm) and can be applied both intra- and extraorally. For intraoral use, a rubber dam is recommended to protect soft tissue.
RØNVIG Dental offers purified 50 µm aluminium oxide powder, which is suitable for most applications.
